Peanut Pakoda

Peanut Pakoda is a perfect tea time snack.It is crispy, spicy and mouthwatering recipe.This can be prepared either by deep frying or by using microwave  Let's start preparing it !!!

Ingredients :


Roasted Peanuts - 1/2 cup (Dry Roast the Peanuts)
Besan - 3 tbsp
Rice flour - 1.5 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt - As per needed
Garam masala - 1/4 tbsp
Baking soda - 1/4 spoon
Oil - As per needed.

Procedure : 


In a bowl add besan, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, baking soda, water and make a smooth batter.Add peanuts into the batter and mix well, so that the batter is coated evenly to peanuts.Heat oil in a pan. Finally leave one by one peanuts into oil and deep fry them till they turn into golden brown color.

Microwave Method :


Instead of deep frying you can use microwave method which is very simple.
Take a microwave safe plate and spread 2 tbsp of oil.Now spread the peanuts evenly on greased plate.Keep it in the microwave for 4 min at max temperature. After 4 min take the plate out and flip the peanuts.Microwave again for 1 min and keep it aside for 5min and let it cool down.

Tasty and spicy Peanut Pakoda is ready to eat.

Paneer Bhurji

Paneer Bhurji is a delicious and very colorful recipe.There are many amazing recipes that can be prepared with paneer. Paneer Bhurji is prepared with grated paneer and vegetables cooked with onions and spices. Ingredients :


Scrambled Paneer - 1 cup
Onion - 1 (cut lengthwise)
Tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Green chillies - 3
Green peas - 1/4 cup
Salt - As per needed
Garam masala - 3/4 spoon
Red Chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/4 spoon
Coriander powder - 1/4 tbsp
Temper :
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 spoon
Cumin seeds - 1/4 spoon

Procedure :


Heat oil in a pan and temper it.Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and cook until the raw smell goes away.Now add tomatoes, green peas and cook until tomatoes become soft.Now add paneer, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder cook it for 5 min.Finally add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Tasty Paneer Bhurji is ready to eat.

Masala Dosa

Masala Dosa, a famous South Indian recipe.The taste of masala dosa is not only know in India, but also in many other countries .This is a common menu item found in every South Indian restaurant.Let's start preparing this yummy and tasty recipe !!!

Ingredients : 


Urad dal - 1 cup
Rice - 3 cups
Flattened rice - 2 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Boiled potato - 3
Onions - 2
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 3
Salt - As per needed
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup

Temper :

Oil - 3 tbsp
cumin seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp

Procedure : 


In a bowl add urad dal, rice, fenugreek seeds, water and soak it for 6 hours.Later grind all the ingredients it into a smooth batter.Add salt and enough water to make into a dropping consistency. Leave to ferment over-night or more if needed.

Preparing Masala :

Heat oil in a pan.Temper it, add green chillies, onions and cook it for 3-4 min.Add boiled potatoes, salt,garam masala and cook it for 5-6 min.Finally add coriander leaves.

Heat the pan and add some oil to the pan.Pour the batter on the pan, make dosa's. Add a thin layer of masala curry on dosa and wait till the dosa gets roasted. Now take out the dosa, and serve it with coconut chutney.

Tasty Masala Dosa is ready to eat.

Pumpkin Curry

Chopped Pumpkin (Yellow) - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 3/4 tbsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt - As per needed
Coriander leaves - 2-3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

Procedure : 


Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onions, ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.Now add pumpkin pieces and cook until they become soft.Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and stir the mixture well.Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Gutti Vankaya Kurma

Gutti Vankaya Kurma, one of the famous and delicious South Indian recipe.Egg plants are rich source of vitamin C.In this recipe, brinjals are cooked in creamy and smooth sause.It goes well with rotis, naan, biryani. Let's start preparing it !!!!

Ingredients :


Egg Plant (Gutti Vankaya) - 4
Onion paste - 1 cup
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Sesame seeds - 4 tbsp (Dry Roast)
Ground nuts - 2 tbsp (Dry Roast)
Poppy seeds - 1 Spoon (Dry Roast)
Coconut powder - 2 tbsp
Cashews - 1/2 cup (Soak in water for 15 min)
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli powder - 3/4 tbsp
Fresh yogurt - 2 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tbsp
Salt - As per needed
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Spring onions - 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - 7-8 tbsp

Procedure : 


First of all, deep fry brinjals and keep it aside.Now make a smooth paste of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, ground nuts, coconut powder and keep it aside.Now again in a grinder make a smooth paste of cashews and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds, onions paste and cook until the oil oozes out. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.Add tomato puree and cook for 7-8 min.Now add the cashews paste and sesame seeds paste to mixture and stir it well.Cook until the oil oozes out. Add yogurt, garam masala, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and stir the mixture well.Now add deep fried brinjals and cook it until you see the oil oozing out.Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and spring onions.

Delicious Gutti Vankaya Kurma is ready to eat.

Dry Fruits Laddu

Dry Fruits Laddu, an easy and healthy recipe.Laddu is the most common sweet found in festival season.This Dry Fruits Laddu can be made in many ways and each one of them tastes awesome. Let's start preparing this quick and delicious recipe !!!!

Ingredients :


Dates - 1 cup (Chopped)
Roasted Almonds - 2 tbsp
Roasted Cashews - 2 tbsp
Roasted Pista - 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp

Procedure : 


First of all, grind the roasted nuts coarsely and keep it aside.Now in a grinder add chopped dates and pulse it for just 2-3 times.Heat ghee in a pan.Add the coarsely grinded dates and stir it properly until the ghee is completely absorbed.Now add the coarsely grinded nuts powder, cardamom powder and stir it until they are mixed properly.Now switch
off the flame and let the mixture cool.Now apply some amount of ghee to your hands and start preparing laddu.

Tasty and healthy Dry Fruits Laddu is ready to eat.

Coconut Coriander Chutney

Coconut Coriander Chutney recipe is a refreshing and easy to make chutney.This chutney goes well with Idli, Dosa, Vada and any other snack . Let's start preparing it !!!!

Ingredients :


Coconut scraping - 3/4 cup
Coriander leaves chopped - 1/2 cup
Ginger -1/2 inch
Tamarind - A pinch
Green chillies - 5
Salt - As per needed
Turmeric - 1/8 spoon
Water - As per needed

Temper :

Mustard seeds - 3/4 spoon
Urad dal - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 3-4
Dry Red chillies - 2
Oil - 2spoons


Procedure : 


First of all, wash the coriander leaves, remove the thick stems and keep aside. Heat kadai and add coriander leaves and saute in low flame only till the leaves gets reduced in volume without changing the color.Add all the ingredients along with the sauted leaves.First grind without water and then add water and grind to a smooth paste. Finally transfer to the bowl, temper it and mix well.

Tasty Coconut Coriander Chutney is ready to eat.

Idli Manchurian

Idli Manchurian is one of the recipe, which proves that we can prepare  delicious recipe with left over stuff.This is a unique combination of Chinese and South Indian food . Let's start preparing this easy and yummy recipe !!!

Ingredients :


Idli - 4 (Cut into cubes)
Corn flour - 1/2 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Ginger green chilli paste - 1 spoon
Onions chopped - 3 spoons
Ginger chopped - 3 spoons
Garlic chopped - 3 spoons
Tomato sause - 3 spoons
Chilli sause(red/green) - 2 spoons
Soya sause - 3 spoons
Vinegar - 1 spoon
Green chillies chopped - 2-3
Salt - 1/2 spoon
Pepper powder -1/4 spoon (optional)
Water - 1/2 cup
Chopped Coriander - 1/4 cup
Spring onions - 1/4 cup
Oil - As per needed

Procedure :


Make batter with corn flour and all purpose flour.Add salt, ginger green chilli paste to the batter.Dip the Idli cubes into the batter and deep fry them.

PREARING SAUSE :
Heat oil in the pan.Add Garlic, Ginger, chopped green chilles, pepper powder. Cook the mixture for 3-4 min.Add vinegar, tomato, Chilli and soya sause.Add water and pinch of salt to the mixture.Now add the fried Idli cubes to the above sauce and cook it for 5-6 min.Finally add some chopped onions, coriander leaves and spring onions.

Tasty Idli  Manchurian is ready to eat.

Sweet Corn Pakoda

One of the famous tea/coffee time snack is Pakoda.Sweet Corn Pakoda is a recipe where you can enjoy both sweet flavor and hot flavor at the same time . Let's start preparing this easy and tasty recipe !!!!

Ingredients :


Sweet Corn - 1 cup
Green chillies - 2
Ginger chopped - 3/4 spoon
Onion chopped - 1 (Medium size)
Salt - As per needed
Cumin seeds - 1/4 spoon
Baking soda - A pinch
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - A pinch
Red Chilli powder - 1/4 spoon
Corn Flour - 1 spoon
Rice Flour - 1 spoon
Oil - As per needed

Procedure : 


Take a mixer, add sweet corn, green chillies, ginger, salt, cumin seeds and grind them coarsely. Make sure not to grind them into a fine paste.Now take a bowl, add coarsely grinded paste, onions, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, baking soda and mix it well.Finally take small portion of the mixture and deep fry them till they become golden brown color.

Yummy Sweet Corn Pakoda is ready to eat.Serve it with sause.

Mixed Flour Roti

Mixed Flour Roti, made up of Ragi (Finger Millet), Jowar and wheat flour is a very healthy recipe which absorbs very little amount of oil .The flours, mainly ragi and jowar are rich in proteins and minerals.People who are looking for easy and nutritious food can try this Recipe . Ingredients :


Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
Ragi (Finger Millet) flour - 1/2 cup
Jowar flour - 1/2 cup
Boiled water - As per needed
Salt - As per needed
Olive oil - 2-3 spoons

Procedure : 


In a bowl, add all the flours, salt and boiled water.Stir the mixture for just 1 min, close the lid and keep it aside for 30min.Later, make small balls and prepare roti on plastic cover  by pressing it with your palm.Very little amount of oil is used to prepare this roti.Pressing the roti with your hand makes it bit uneven.Finally place the roti on tawa and fry it on both sides.

Very healthy Mixed Flour Roti is ready to eat.Serve hot with any chutney.
