Veg Manchow Soup

Most of us enjoy having soup in winter/cold season.Veg Manchow soup is one of the famous hot and spicy chinese soup.The taste of Manchow soup cannot be described unless we try it. So let's start preparing it!!!

Ingredients :


Vegetable Stock :
Chopped Cabbage - 1/4 cup
Chopped Carrots - 1/4 cup
Chopped Spring onions - 1 spoon

Soup :
Vegetable Stock - 2 cups
Oil - 1spoon
Chopped Garlic - 1/2 spoon
Chopped Ginger - 1/2 spoon
Chopped Green chilles - 1/2 spoon
Chopped Cabbage - 1 spoon
Chopped Carrots - 1 spoon
Chopped Coriander - 1/4 spoon
Soy sause - 1/2 spoon
Pepper powder - 1/8 spoon
Corn flour - 1spoon (dissolve in 1/2cup of water)

For Topping :
Fried Noodles

Procedure : 


Preparing Vegetable Stock :

Heat 6 cups of water, add all the vegetables and boil them for 15-20 min on a low flame.Allow the vegetables to settle at the bottom of the vessel and pour out the stock.Discard the vegetables and keep aside.

Preparing Soup :

Heat oil in a pan on a high flame.Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and saute for few seconds.Now add cabbage, carrot, coriander and saute for 1-2min. Add vegetable stock, mix well and cook on a high flame for 2-3 min by stirring occasionally. Add soya sause, prepared corn flour mixture and cook for 2-3 min. Finally add pepper powder, mix well and serve immediately topped with fried noodles.

Very hot Veg Manchow soup  is ready to eat.
