Aloo Bonda

Aloo Bonda is a classic tea/coffee time snack.If you are looking for any tasty snack with less oil absorption, try this Aloo Bonda in Appe pan . Let's start preparing this easy and tasty Aloo Bonda in appe pan !!!

Ingredients :


Potatoes - 3 (Boiled, Peeled and Mashed)
Green chilli ginger paste - 1.5 spoons
Chopped onions - 1
Dhaniya Powder - 1/2 spoon
Salt - As per needed
Cumin seeds - 1/4 spoon
Coriander leaves - 2 spoons
Turmeric - A pinch
Besan flour - 8 spoons
Rice flour - 2 spoons
Red Chilli powder - 1 spoon
Oil - As per needed

Procedure :


Heat oil in a pan. Add turmeric, cumin seeds, ginger green chilli paste, onions and fry them for 3-4 min.Now add mashes potato, dhaniya powder, salt and mix it well.Cook the mixture for 4-5 min and finally garnish it with coriander leaves. Switch off the flame and let it cool.Make small balls of the mixture and keep it aside.
Now in a bowl, add besan, rice flour, red chilli powder, salt and water to make a thick batter.Make sure that the batter should be like bhajji batter.Now take appe pan, and pour 1/4 spoon of oil in each portions.Mean while take the balls and dip in the batter and put in the one portion of the pan.Repeat the process for all the balls.Turn them one by one slowly after they are fried on one side.Fry them on both sides and take them to oil draining paper.
Serve hot with rice.

Tasty Aloo Bonda  is ready to eat. Serve hot with sause.
