If you are bored of eating Idly's, try punugulu with Idly batter.It is very easy and simple to prepare . Let's start preparing it !!!!
Ingredients :
Idly batter - 2 cups
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Green Chillies - 4-5
Onion - 1
Cumin seeds -1/4 spoon
Salt - As per needed
Baking soda - A pinch
Curry leaves - 3-4
Procedure :
In a bowl add Idly batter, rice flour, all purpose flour, onions, green chillies, curry leaves, cumin seeds, salt, baking soda and mix them well.Keep it aside for almost 8-9 hours (over night).
Heat oil in kadai.Shape the batter to round balls with fingers and drop them in hot oil.Finally deep fry them till they turn into golden color.
Tasty punugulu is ready to eat.
Serve it with coconut chutney.
