Veg Spring Rolls

Spring roll is a common and delicious dish from the streets of China.It is the perfect finger food in any parties or gathering. The taste of spring rolls made up of fresh vegetables is very delicious,  that you cannot stop by eating just one roll.Let's start preparing Vegetable Spring Rolls !!!

Ingredients :


Cabbage - 1 cup
Capsicum - 1/2 cup (cut length wise)
Carrots - 1/2 cup ( cut length wise)
Onions - 3/4 cup
Ginger chilli paste - 1 spoon
Pepper powder - 1/4 spoon
Salt - As per needed
Oil - As per needed for deep fry
Spring Roll Sheets - As per needed
All purpose flour paste - 2 spoons

Procedure : 


Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok on high flame.Add green chilli paste, cabbage, carrots, onions and capsicum.Saute the vegetables on high heat, until they are lightly softened.Add salt and black pepper in order to get Indian flavour. Finally transfer the mixture to another bowl and let it cool  completely.

Place the square spring roll wrapper on a flat surface.Apply a little flour paste along the edges of the wrapper.Place a tablespoon of filling at one corner/edge of the wrapper.Fold in from the filled c I Riner and begin rolling until you reach the center.At this stage, apply flour paste again on the edges and roll until you reach the end.Make sure the edges are sealed well.The flour paste is important as it helps to seal the spring rolls, so they don't open when deep fried.Repeat the process and proceed to make the rest of spring rolls.

Preheat the oil for deep frying.Add in few rolls at a time and deep fry on a medium heat until they turn into golden brown color.

Serve the Vegetable Spring Rolls as party snack along with sweet and spicy chilli sause.
