Spring Onion Besan Curry

Either in Chinese or Continental recipe, a common vegetable found is Spring Onion.Spring Onions, also known as scallions or green onions onions, contain a wide variety of health-enhancing compounds like vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. We can use them raw in salads or cook them with other vegetables in stir-fries or sautes for an extra boost of nutrition.

Spring Onion Besan Curry is a simple recipe which takes very less time to Prepare . Let's start preparing it !!!!

Ingredients :


Spring onions - 1.5 Cup
Green chillies - 2
Red Chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
Salt - As per needed
Besan - 4-5 spoons
Coriander leaves - 1 spoon
Jeera - 1/4 spoon
Urad dal - 1 spoon
Turmeric - A pinch
Oil - 2-3 spoons

Procedure : 


Heat oil in a pan.Add jeera, turmeric, urad dal, white part(onion present at the end) of the chopped spring onions, green chillies and saute them for 1-2min.Now add green part of chopped spring onions and cook them for 7-8 min.Later add salt, red chilli powder and stir the mixture well.Now add besan and cook the mixture until the raw smell of besan goes away.Finally add chopped coriander leaves.
 
Tasty Spring Onion Besan Curry is ready to eat.Goes well with rice or roti.
